DDR2. It’s not just about DDR2-533 and DDR2-400
modules, but also about new products: memory modules DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 standards.

The company is preparing for future demand for these products. BUT
such will arise exactly when processors and platforms appear on the market,
who will need such memory. This should happen closer to the end
this year – with the advent of new Intel processors.

At the moment, the process of testing 256 MB and 512 MB standard modules is underway
DDR2-667 based on select, well-overclocked memory chips.

And although the final DDR2-800 standard has not yet been approved by the Joint Electron Device
Engineering Council (JEDEC), A-Data company
already conducts the stages of testing and testing 256 Mbit (32×8) modules
DDR2-800, which meet the preliminary
JEDEC draft specification. These modules are produced by A-Data
90 nm process technology. It is expected that more detailed information about the new product can be

will be held in March, where these and other equally interesting
products and developments.

Already, A-Data is actively producing DDR2-533 modules, which,
according to analysts, the company will dominate the mid-market
class of systems and performance solutions. A-Data DDR2-533 shipments in progress
memory capacity 512 MB and 1 GB. In the near future there will be
the release of memory on DRAM chips (128×8) with a capacity of 2
GB, and starting from March – mass production of 2 GB DDR2-400 memory on chips
256×4.
