DFI LANParty NF4 SLI-DR and LANPartyUT NF4 Ultra-D: interesting motherboards based on NF4

The range of products based on the fourth generation of NVIDIA chipsets is growing every day. Yesterday DFI joined the camp of motherboard manufacturers based on nForce 4 SLI / Ultra, adding two new models to the LANParty family – LANParty NF4 SLI-DR and LANPartyUT NF4 Ultra-D. In total, the company plans to release at least 5 products of this kind, the aforementioned models will become the basis for them, and they will differ from each other mainly in the configuration and the ability to connect additional 4 devices with a SATA interface:

The entire series is aimed primarily at enthusiasts and users of the segment
DIY (“do it yourself”). Wide possibilities for adjusting memory supply voltages
(2.5 V – 4.0 V), processor (up to 2.1 V), chipset (1.5 V – 1.8 V), HyperTransport bus
(1.2 V – 1.5 V); the ability to set the multiplication factor up to 20 (in order,
to take advantage of this feature, you will have to fork out for Athlon 64 FX)

Theoretically, this approach gives great flexibility when distributing all 20 PCI-E nForce 4 lanes to slots – there are 4 of them, as you can see, the number of connected lines on each varies depending on the current mode. Officially LANPartyUT NF4 Ultra-D does not support SLI, instead it is implemented
Dual Xpress Graphics (DXG) technology, which allows to output
image on four monitors (two
PCI-E lines). However, LANParty NF4 SLI-DR and LANPartyUT NF4 Ultra-D boards although
