Microsoft: “Pirates, beware of Windows Update!”

The well-known news site The Inquirer in one of its news reports that the Microsoft corporation plans to add a new feature to its popular Windows XP operating system, which will prevent the installation of updates on pirated copies of Win XP.

For example, if you install an update on Windows Media Player in pirated Windows XP, then WMP will simply stop functioning properly. This is such a difficult task that Microsoft Corporation decided to provide to pirates. So, if you are using unlicensed Windows XP, you will have to either refuse updates or purchase a legal copy of the operating system.
