Personal computer, which more and more claims to be an entertainment
center, it is no longer possible to call the language only “an electronic computer”.
Component manufacturers are increasingly interested in the development of multimedia
PC component. For example, the newly formed German company PREL
announced its presence in the market by introducing a low (sound) amplifier
frequency “Personal Amplifier 2021”, intended for installation directly
to the system unit.
The ULF itself is small in size, covered with a heat sink, located in the center of the board. An expansion card installed in a PCI slot is shielded; the connectors on it are as follows: one 3.5 mm mini-jack (line stereo input) and two pairs of outputs for speaker systems of an unidentified standard. The manufacturer offers to connect speakers (passive, of course) to strip the insulation on the cables by 7 mm and insert them directly into the jacks ? there they are fixed with a latch.
